Gavin is being “committed” to the psychiatric ward at Akron Children’s Hospital. It was a battle this morning. Gavin has been extremely aggressive all day. They were going to transfer him to Youngstown but decided not to at the last minute. While in the ER Gavin got very aggressive with Lizze. They even had a security guard in his room. So we are waiting to get a room.

I just wanted to offer my support. My son was admitted to a pshyc hospital last January after all else had failed in trying to help/reach him. With several months behind us I can say it was the hardest thing we ever did, but also the best to help him. I hope you find help and answers as well.
I'm so sorry this is happening. We've struggled with mental health in this house as well. But my dear friend and blogger Julia, went through this same thing with her son earlier this year. I thought it might help you to read her story, and maybe even reach out to her for support. She's an amazing woman, who's lived an amazing journey with her kids.
