I can relate to some of what you go through.I am the mother of a 12 year old Autistic girl. She is high functioning and very bright. But she get upset and frustrated very easily. She has also been diagnosed with epilepsy. It is heartbreaking to see her have the episodes when she gets so upset in a store or something and people look at her and me like why am I letting my child act like that.I want to just scream out she cant help it.And now that she also has epilepsy I feel like somehow I have failed as a Mom because I cant help her with these problems.I just sit and cry when she goes to sleep after a day of cluster seizures.Sometimes I wonder if I am the only Mom going through this. But the more I read I see that Autism is being diagnosed more and more each day. These children are precious gifts from God and I wish that people would take the time to get to know and love them.
