Crack goes the Daddy

If you listen really carefully,  you can hear the sounds of a special needs Daddy cracking.

We all have our vises.  Sometimes these are the only things to get us through the tough times.  I have 2 myself. These things have gotten me through some of the tougher times.  They can be and escape and offer comfort or a sense of normalcy when things in your life are crazy.

My first vise is building custom ROM’s for Android smartphones and using those ROM’s to spread Autism Awareness.

My second one has been a long standing vise. That would be playing video games.  When I’m really frustrated with life,  I can join a COD Black OPs match and just escape into that world for a little bit.

Well this afternoon I went to turn of the XBOX 360 and it was a no go.  It would lock up and freeze..

This is why,  if you listen closely,  you can hear the sounds of a special needs Daddy cracking.  😉

I tried all the usual fixes and nothing.  I think I’m outside my warranty but I need to double check.

Looks like I’ll have more time for this blog and ROM building.

It’s only Monday……. Sigh

When I bought Mike's Xbox they told me that after so long xboxes are actually known to get what they call the "Red Ring of Death." It causes them to stop working and they guy said that it is almost ALWAYS passed the warranty time! Luckily we have had ours for about 3 years and it hasn't done that…YET! Of course, Mike doesn't play too much b/c he doesn't like playing Halo with someone who whines and pouts every time she gets killed! LMAO

With some problems, I think if you're outside of warranty, they'll still fix it, because it is a known issue. I might be wrong. I hope they'll fix it for you. We had a problem with ours, a known issue, they picked it up, shipped it back rather quickly. It's been fine ever since. I've been perseverating on Plants vs. Zombies, myself.
