One of the reasons I hate menopause

Lizze still hasn’t been to bed yet.  These hot flashes are keeping her from sleeping.  She has a sleep disorder called hypersomnia and that essentially means that her body requires 12-15 hours of sleep, in order to be rested.

The hot flashes associated with her early menopause are preventing her from sleeping.

She wakes up drenched in sweat, extremely uncomfortable and unable to go back to sleep. The estrogen patches don’t seem to be helping much.

I wish there was a way to help her speed this menopause process along so she can emerge from the other side.

Hi Rob, came across your Tweet and wanted to let you know that YES – hot flashes are extremely difficult, and your wife is lucky for you to be as supportive as you have been. Just keep helping out as much as possible, even if it’s something as little as taking time out of your day to listen to her. Keep up the blogging and we hope all goes well!
