I’m not looking forward to existing today

I’m not looking forward to existing today. I’m so far beyond what I perceive to be my limit. When I look back, I can’t even see where that line was crossed.

It feels like everyone’s in a crisis right now and I’m without the tools to help them.

Truthfully, I didn’t even want to get up this morning.

That being said, someone had to drive the kids to school and take Lizze to her first appointment of the day.  While she’s there, I’m going to force myself to walk and hopefully find some peace while doing so.

This afternoon, I will be driving Lizze to University Hospital.  It’s roughly about an hour or so away.

Today’s appointment is with her new neurologist.  The hope is that she will find some relief from her almost three year old migraine. She’s been waiting about 3 months for this appointment and it’s finally arrived.

I’m also supposed to have a conference call with Cricket Wireless because we have to finish planning out our surprise for the Autism community in my home town.

This is something I’m kinda looking forward to because it’s a chance to reach more families, especially local ones.

Having said that, I just wish the world would stop spinning for a short while.  I just need everything to stop long enough for me to catch my breath.

I really just want to go back to bed right now….

i agree with kim, i am sure you have looked into it, but please look again for some respite. also, while i am making suggestions i dont know if you ever tried again for lizzie’s ssi, but that might take some pressure off. if you are too tired or overwhelmed, email me or message me or something and i am glad to call for you or do a three way call. i know it is all overwhelming and want you to know this offer is sincere and always on the table as I don’t have away besides thoughts and prayers to help you guys.

Kim

Does youstudentswn have an agency Tha offers a respite service? That way you can leave at least one of the boys with someone who has some more experience than a regular babysitter. That way you can get things done, and have one last child to worry about. I know that in my hometown, there are several agencies that offers the service. It is for you to the parents, they just have to sign up with the agency improve their need for respite. I am not 100 % sure of the process as I am not a parent but I know that the parents of the students that I work with use respite for everything from taking their other children to a sporting event or birthday party where their child would be overwhelmed to doing something as simple as grocery shopping to house cleaning which is difficult with “our” kids.
Best of luck to Lizzie. I hope she gets answers.
