I had an awesome personal victory today

Today’s been an interesting day. While much of it was spent worrying and stressing out about the millions of things I have crushing me, I’m going to focus on something that I feel is very positive.

Between the bad weather last week and all that’s going on with Gavin, I’ve been unable to really focus on my weight-loss.

Another problem is that in some areas of my life, I’m pretty weak.  At the moment, I’m giving into the desire to stress eat and that’s not a good thing.  It’s no one’s fault but my own and I take responsibility for it.

Back to my personal victory for today.  🙂

My goal for each day is to accumulate 10,000 steps.  This roughly translates into about 5 miles.  I walked 3.1 miles this morning at the track and managed to squeeze in another 2+ miles, walking the dogs and taking the boys for walks.

I’m really proud of myself for meeting this goal today.  It may not seem like much but every little victory counts and every step I take is one towards a healthier me….

That’s worth celebrating…..

Woohoo! I know how hard it can be to carve the time out to do such a thing. I am hoping to hit the pool 3 times this week but who knows if I will actually get any laps in during it. Great going!

Thanks Megan. Good luck with hitting the pool. 🙂
