Gavin’s not doing good tonight

Unfortunately, Gavin is having a really rough night. He’s not been able to fall asleep because he’s not feeling well. The poor kid is battling tummy issues once again. He came downstairs a couple of times because his stomach hurt and he felt like he was going to vomit.

I wish I knew what was going on because he’s absolutely miserable.

The only thing we can do is give him a Zofran and hope that eliminates the nausea. I’m not sure what’s causing this but it’s happening quite a bit over the last week or so.

I don’t know if he’s dealing with a stomach bug or if it’s something he’s eating.

Part of my concern is that I never got his lab results from Friday. I have no idea what his numbers are. Should we be worried? Do we just manage the symptoms? If his numbers are low again, this is a big problem. If he’s just dealing with a tummy bug and his numbers are fine, then we don’t really need to worry.

I just want him to feel better and get some sleep.

Does Gavin’s health care provider have any advice?

Rob Gorski

Nope. When it comes to Gavin, advice is hard to come by anymore.

Okay, that sucks. It means they are also baffled. Somehow I always feel better when my medical people can at least guide me to solutions or give options. Poor Gavin.
