This is cute and my son is gifted with numbers although did not get autism as myself. He memorized his entire pre-school birthday board and as a toddler the daycare was amazed that he could place shapes in without manual moving. It is easy and comfort in numbers if you think about it a nine is a nine no definition needed. There is no definition to figure out and it is safe to share....9. Or he is German for "no"?

If you are a parent wondering if your child has autism: welcome. You are among friends. It can be scary and daunting to think about the possibility, but your child will remain your amazing wonderful child, whether there’s a label like “autism” attached or not. But the thing about autism is that the earlier it is treated, the better it is for your child. So it’s best to know and do something about it as soon as you can.

My daughter goes through phases where she will call everything a specific word. Like last week it was yellow. The cat was no longer a cat it was yellow. I was yellow... It was pretty cute.
