The boys made it off to their Mom’s without much of a problem. My evenings been rather uneventful, as I don’t really have anything to do or anywhere to go. I’m hoping to someday change that but for right now, it’s just not in the cards.
That’s not to say that I just sat in a corner and waited for the kids to come home either.
I did treat myself to a burrito. Maggie and I have this tradition that I’ve never shared. I get a giant burrito from Chipotle, only eat about 2/3 of it and Maggie eats the rest. I’ve not been able to actually finish one in awhile and Maggie likes it. ☺️
Anyway, I also cleaned out the side yard from about a 1.5 years worth of saplings. Like I’ve been saying recently. I’ve got a lot to catch up on.
Now I’m just catching a couple movies on Netflix before going to bed..
While it’s just been me and Maggie tonight, it was a pretty relaxing evening. Even if it’s lonely, having time to myself is really important because it does reduce my overall stress level.
One of the highlights of this evening was giving the ferrets a something fun to play with, sitting back and watching them go crazy.
