We have run into a problem with Gavin’s insurance and it’s causing delays in several things, including medication refill and most likely his IVIG infusion as well.
Essentially, Gavin’s insurance has been changed from straight medicaid to an HMO.
However, as a result everything is in transition right now and we haven’t received his new insurance card.
None of his meds are getting refilled right now and we just found that out today. Tuesday will be spent fleshing out all the insurance issues…
All we are going to do is push the infusion back a day or so.
The other problem is that I’m having tummy issues tonight and I’m not feeling so well. I’ll update everyone in the morning.
