I can't say enough about Summit Academy. While we've had some hiccups along the way, the overall experience has been vastly and overwhelmingly positive.
The boys Art teacher is really cool. She had this awesome idea to have Emmett's class look at slides of *germs* understand a microscope and then create what they saw out of paper.
Basically, I think these were just slides of single cell organisms but to kids in kindergarten, they are germs. Anyway, this is what Emmett created and I think it's awesome. What a cool way to teach kids... I can't wait to get this home so we can hang it up in his room.
This sorta makes me think of the game *Spore. *:-)
