It's been a really challenging day for me on many levels, both physically and emotionally.. I've been doing my best to take care of my 2 sick kiddos and my manic 16 year old.
Gavin's actually doing better and *seems *to be cycling out of mania. Thank God...
Elliott and Emmett are definitely sick. They're definitely miserable and they're definitely more challenging. It breaks my heart to see them like this.....
Anyway, everyone is currently in their own bed, fitfully sleeping.. I can hear them coughing from downstairs...
I'm not sure what's going to happen come Monday because the doctor excused them from school for the next 3 days, depending on how they're doing...
My goal for tomorrow/today is to keep them resting as best I can. They don't like to rest but they're just not going to have a choice. I will say that it's far easier said than done but I'm the parent and it's my job to ensure they get better.
I fear it's going to be a really long gone night based on what I hear coming from their bedroom.
