SO GRATEFUL: CKP Heating and Cooling fixed my furnace before the boys got home from school today

Okay…  The HVAC guy has come and gone.. I called CKP Heating and Cooling to come out and access the issue with my broken furnace.  I really like these guys and trust them not to rip me off.

A few years back, they donated a complete central air setup and had all our ductwork professionally cleaned.

Ever since then, they are my goto for anything furnace related..

They arrived a little more than an hour after my call because the temperature will be dropping tonight and they didn’t want us to go without heat. In fact, they were there much sooner than they had predicted, which worked out perfectly..

The tech looked through everything and found the problem right away.  It turns out it was a capacitor that had gone bad.  He swapped it out with one in the truck and we were back up and running.

He was done and out the door, before they were really even supposed to have arrived.

While it was still expensive, it wasn’t as expensive as if it had been the blower motor.  I’m so grateful that it ended up being something that I was able to cover.  Frankly, it feels so good to be able to take care of something like this that unexpectedly popped up… ☺

It sucks that this happened at all but I sorta feel like the awesomeness of the day carried over here because it could have been so much worse than this.
