GREAT NEWS: Guess who start Occupational and Physical Therapy This Week

It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here.  Gavin will be returning to occupational and physical therapies this week.

He has outgrown Akron Children’s Hospital, at least the location we would be going to and so he was referred to a different therapy group.

Part of the logic behind this was that Gavin needs pool therapy as well as more traditional therapies. The facility he’s going to can cover that and there are few kiddos in somewhat similar circumstance and so there will be a social aspect to it as well.  ☺

The referral was actually made a month or so ago but I have been preoccupied and didn’t get around to it until recently.

Yes, I should very much have been on top of things better but I’m only one person and I have to sorta triage everything and prioritize accordingly..

At the end of the day, he’s going and that’s what’s important.

I’m not super excited about this added level of responsibility but it’s a parents job to do whatever is necessary for their kids.

We should be able to schedule these sessions during school hours so I don’t have to worry about the other boys.

For this particular appointment, the E’s will be with my Mom.  ☺

I’m so excited for Gavin. I’m probably more excited than Gavin is but he wants to do this so it’s a good thing all around.
