Gavin and I decided we’re going to do something kinda weird/cool over the next year.  In fact, on July 4th, 2017 we’re gonna post a picture that will help put what Gavin goes through to treat just one of his serious health issues, into perspective.

We are going to save the empty vials of GAMMAGARD for the next year.

In 365 days, we’re gonna line up all the empty vials and show you how much medicine it takes in a year to keep him alive and healthy.

For those that don’t know, Gavin has a severely compromised immune system and requires two infusions a week, in order to survive.  Without these infusions, he would not have a functioning immune system.

With each infusion, Gavin is receiving antibodies donated by thousands of people. 

I think it will be really interesting to be able to stand back and see all that goes into one year’s worth of his treatment..
