Review: Rechargeable Magnetic Night Light with Motion Sensor

Review of the Rechargeable Magnetic Night Light with Motion Sensor

I received this item for review purposes. I accepted this review with the intention of using it as a night light for Elliott.. It arrived a couple of days ago and ended up being smaller than I had anticipated. Having said that, I actually appreciate the size it actually is because it works like a charm and Elliott loves it.

I’ve used the mounting tape and stuck this to the underside of the top bunk in my kids room. This allows him to use a light at night without disturbing his brother on the top bunk.

The base sticks to the underside of the top bunk via double sided tape and the light itself sticks to the base via magnet. This allows the light to be manipulated in a ton of different ways.

The magnetic pull is very, very secure and will not fall off. In fact, it takes a bit of effort to actually remove the light from the base. I really like that.

You can use the light in several ways.

  1. the outer ring light on/off
  2. the center light on/off
  3. both lights on/off
  4. auto on/off
  5. remove the light and use as flashlight

While we haven’t used the auto on/off feature much, it would be great for use in the bathroom at night.

This light recharges via the included micro-USB cable. Mine showed up with a charge and I’ve yet to have to recharge it. The only thing that’s weird about this is that the bottom of the light says “twist to open” but then there’s a sticker that says “do not open”..  I’m not sure what that’s all about but that’s my only gripe and that’s not really a gripe.

I’m actually going to order a second one for Emmett as well. I would have no problem whatsoever recommending this to anyone. I’m very happy with this unique night light.

This light can be purchased from Amazon by clicking here, for about $20.00. It’s worth looking at and there’s no incentive for me if you do decide to buy. I simply really like this light. I will never push a product for profit and have turned many down in the past.
