6:30am meltdown…

Gavin has this nasty habit of trying to parent his siblings.  He corrects them and sometimes even try to discipline them.  It doesn’t matter how many times I tell him he’s not their parent he just keeps on doing it anyway.

He did it again this morning with Emmett John and I reminded him he’s not the parent. I asked him to repeat what I said and he lost it and started freaking out.  He flipped around on the ground like a fish out of water.

This is going to be a very long weekend.

ha, yup, that sounds like my house. I have yet to hear Cameron talk to his little brother as if he was an equal. Just about everything he says to him is yelling, talking down to him, disciplining him… the works.
Even when I'm the one telling him not to do something, Cameron cuts in and tries to reinforce what I'm saying.
It's a constant battle trying to get him to just be nice once in a while.
