Meltdowns and adult diapers

Meltdowns and adult diapers

It’s barely 9:30am and Gavin is already on his 2nd meltdown of the day.  This was one of the weirdest and most bizarre things I have ever witnessed.

I was right there when it happened and I still don’t understand what happened.

Basically,  Gavin shooting baskets in the dining room when all of a sudden he came into the living room and said “I didn’t know adult men wear diapers“.  I swear to God,  I couldn’t make this stuff up.

The next thing I know Gavin is freaking out and when I asked him what was wrong,  I made it worse. This was one of those rare instances where Gavin was having a meltdown that he didn’t have control over. To be completely honest,  I have no idea where any of this came from.

It was easily one of the weirdest things I have ever witnessed and I’ve witnessed quite a bit.

I think that maybe he was embarrassed because of what he said.  That’s about all I can gather from this situation. I think it’s pretty obvious we need to get him into the psychiatrist.  We just need to find one first.

Dr Lee Reynolds on Frank Ave. He is very good. Stark DD and Family Council both have a lot of positve things to say about him and he has been very good with my own son.

We were actually one of his first patients. We\’ve been seeing him for about 6 years now. However, I think we are moving on because he\’s become spread to thin.

We owe him a great deal but I think we might have to move on because he\’s impossible to get a hold of and our appointments always get canceled.

I absolutely love Dr. Reynolds as he is responsible for us surviving this long and he defended Gavin from his abusive biological father. He basically the best there is….

He has such a great heart that he has taken on so much because he wants to help as many kids asnhe can. Gavin just needs more hands on time than what Reynolds can give him anymore and he\’s far to complex for anyone else. We need to move to the Cleveland Clinic..

Thank you for the suggestion…. 🙂
