Halloween without Gavin

This is the first Halloween in as long as I can remember that Gavin isn’t here with us. 

With Gavin moved out and living with his grandparents, he will be doing this stuff over there and not with us. 

It’s really one of those bittersweet moments where doing the right thing feels somehow, less right.

While it does seem sad, you mentioned Gavin is doing well there. I am sure he is benefitting from having his grandparents undivided attention as well. I think it was a good choice to place him there temporarily.
