How about some good news for a change

While it’s true that we go through our share of personal tragedies, on occasion things do work out.  When the star align and something like that happens, I’m always excited to be able to share the good news with all of my readers.

Wednesday was a really stressful day.

I have a meeting tomorrow afternoon that I can’t wait to tell you all about.

However, as far as today went, the stars were definitely aligned.  Let’s begin with the biggest news first.

As you know, we have been fighting to keep our home.  We’ve fallen on hard times and we got behind and dealing with foreclosure.  I got a call from my uncle tonight letting me know that the mortgage company has finally come through.

Basically, we’re not going to lose our home now.  🙂

I’ve been saying that out loud to myself, all night.  It feels so good to hear those words.  It feels even better to be able to be the one saying them. 🙂

Things will still be tough and we’ll need all the help we can get but this is such a huge victory and I just want to say thank you to my aunt and uncle for their patience and understanding.

In other news, I’m thrilled to death to be able to share that both Gavin and Elliott will be attending Thursdays Akron Aero’s game with their classmates and a very special guest.  There was a little snafu with seating for the school and basically their wasn’t enough staff to accompany Elliott and Gavin into the peanut free suite during lunch.

Enter the very special guest.

My Dad will be hanging out with Elliott at the game and will escort Elliott to the peanut free zone for lunch.  I’m so excited for all three of them. My Dad was supposed to be working dropped everything to make this work.  If he hadn’t done so, they wouldn’t be able to go.

I have a lunch meeting in Akron at Noon but Lizze has a doctors appointment in the morning and I simply can’t be three places at once.

I would have loved to go but I know that hanging out with Grandpa Gorski will an awesome experience for both the boys and my Dad.  For tomorrow, my place will be taking care of Lizze and Emmett.

My Dad and I are talking about taking the boys to watch bother Cleveland Indians this summer if they have fun at the game.

That would be so much fun. 🙂

I love being able to share good news like this whenever I can.  Things like this never happen to us and I’m so grateful to the powers that be for giving a  break.

Ya’ll have a restful night….
