Nothing starts the day quite like a dead cat in your front yard :-(

I let the dogs out this morning and discovered a black cat, laying lifeless in our front yard.   Not sure what happened to it but I’m thinking it died before I went to bed last night.

The reason I say that is because the dogs were sniffing around on the other side of the fence, opposite to where the poor cat is currently located.

This is really sad because I respect all life and can feel the loss of this poor stray cat.

At first I thought Blue, Emmett’s cat had gotten out but thankfully that wasn’t the case. I believe this is the cat that my neighbor had been caring for and feeding.  She’s going to be sad.  🙁

There are no pictures, for obvious reasons.
