Gavin is having a rough morning already. We haven’t even started his infusion yet. He let himself out of his room again this morning and came downstairs. It’s one thing if he has to go to the bathroom but for the safety of all involved, we need to know where he is at all times.
I know it seems mean or cruel to some of you but you have to remember that this has nothing to do with Autism.
Gavin is a sociopath and unless you’ve lived lived with a sociopath, it’s really difficult to understand the extremes that one must go to, in order to ensure everyone’s safety.
We already had a temper tantrum because we held him accountable for sneaking downstairs.
This isn’t exactly a good way to start the day.
