One of the best pieces of parenting advice I ever received came at one of the hardest times in my life right after my divorce. I was running on empty, struggling to keep up, and my therapist said something that completely shifted my perspective: Meltdowns are involuntary and a sign of overstimulation. They're not a disciplinary issue or a sign of a bad parent. Be kind, patient, and supportive. ❤️🫶 Just a friendly reminder that you’re f@cking awesome. Don’t let what other people say, think, or do make you feel otherwise. ♥️🫶
