Okay. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. Gavin is currently at the Children’s Hospital at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been there since Satuarday. He has been having a reaction to one of the medications he absolutely has to be on.

This medication was causing ticks. They started in his face and on Saturday they had spread to his entire body. We called the doctor and he said he must be seen. That started the process and here we are.

He had to be cut off cold turkey because his life was in danger.  I can’t begin to tell you what it’s like to see your son in that condition. He has lost control over his body and was falling off the bed.

After 12 hours in the ER we were moved to his room. He didn’t sleep for about 2 straight days. We had come home and leave him there. ER and EJ were really struggling and they needed us. Gavin is in extremely good hands (actually some of the best in the world) and we needed to let them do what needs to be done. We didn’t want our presence to influence his behaviors.

We have talked to Gavin several times today and he misses us but is having fun. They gave him a Wii for his room and he has someone with him 24/7. He has a way to go still. He has been diagnosed as suffering from delirium. They were concerned for.his life. He has been doing better since the mess are clearing his system.

Now they are running every rest they can think of to rule everything out. He is off all of his meds. They will figure out what he needs to be on and work to get him back on track. I.haven’t written in a while do to exhaustion. That’s all for now. Please continue praying for Gavin and our family. This is a very difficult time…

Thanks
