Bad back, flat tire and pouring rain. All for pancakes.

This morning didn’t start out in a good foot.  My back is so bad that I can’t tie my own shoes or even put my pants on by myself. Honestly,  anything that requires bending is incredibly painful.  It’s been a few years since I have had a flare up like this.

Anyway,  I had to take Elliott to school this morning and as we are walking out to the van,  in the rain,  I noticed we had a flat tire. I had to drag the compressor out of the garage and inflate the rest passenger side Tire as it was low by about 30 psi.  That was not a fun experience and it hurt really bad.

Having said that,  it was all worth it and I would have gone though it again a million times over.

Today was a special day for Elliott at school. Truthfully,  it was pretty darn special for me as well. You see,  today was Pancakes with Dad at school.  Elliott and I got to eat breakfast together in the cafeteria this morning. It was awesome to get to spend this special time with him.

While it didn’t last very long,  everything I had to go through to experience those brief moments was totally worth it. 🙂
