Gavin’s not having a good day already.  It’s like he doesn’t care because he already isn’t going to his Grandma’s, so all bets are off.

It’s going to be a very long day if this continues.

Hopefully, he will find his way to making better decisions, at least to the best of his abilities.  We’ve never expected perfection but like to see an effort being made.

Fingers crossed that the rest of the day goes better.

Ugh…I wrote that wrong, still early. Mine is 18 and I still have days like that. Just want more effort put in. Hope that helped to make sense…heading for more coffee.

The big picture may look grim, not going to grandparents tonight, but maybe a smaller picture to focus on will help get back on track. (Not a bribe, just a different focus! Have to clarify cuz there’s a difference:) fingers crossed for a better day!

You hit the nail on the head! We never expect anything to be perfect, but he is 18 and would like to see him put more of an effort into things. Our kids are so smart and we know they can do anything if they at least put in that effort.
I hope Gavin’s day gets better. Hang in there!
