Chicago GOP hopeful: #Autism and #Dementia are God’s punishments for #LGBT rights

I’m sorry. I normally can be a bit more tactful than what I’m about to be. I truly believe that everyone has a right to think, feel and believe what they want. It’s on the rarest of occasions that I truly take issue with what someone believes. To that end, all I can think to say is this lady is fucking crazy.

Wow is all I can say. I too am an evangelical Christian and I cannot understand where she is getting her information from. She is one of the many reasons people like to hate Christians and frankly, I can’t imagine why anyone would want to join a church or religion if this is what is taught. While I may not agree with abortions and same sex marriages, I don’t have to spew filth and hatred about it. I can still love people that are/have been in these situations. I sin every day too and I am pretty sure people could say a lot about the mistakes they think I am making in my life. I know God does not make mistakes and He blessed me with my child, aspergers and all! I could not imagine this world without the progress people on the spectrum have made in our lives. Because of strange or different obsessions we are able to get information on historical events from the past because these people have painstakenly reconstructed them. That is just one example. I want to say who cares what she says but the scary reality is that some people believe the same things she does and she could have a say in laws that are written in our future which would greatly and directly impact our children’s lives. Maybe she should read the verses in the bible about those preaching false gospels and bearing false witness 😉

I’m an Evangelical Christian, and a  Republican, I’d like to lock this woman in a room somewhere so she can’t contaminate anyone with this crap she espouses.

MrMiller23 you’re preaching to the choir my friend. I totally agree with you and share in your frustration.  Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

I’d love to go on a political rant right now, but this isn’t the time nor place. I’m not sure what’s worse: the fact that there are stupid people who say and believe this sort of stuff.
Or the general voter who agrees with them and elects them into office.
