What’s the weirdest thing your kids have asked you?

On a more positive or rather less negative note, here’s something a little funny.  Emmett is a really amazing kid and his mind works in the most unique way.

He and I have the most bizarre conversations at the craziest hours of the day and night.

I never seek these conversations out because I don’t have to and when I say these happen at the craziest hours,  I mean that.

Last night Emmett climbed into our bed about 3am. He was feeling chatty.  In true Emmett fashion, he asks me the most bizarre question.  He wanted to know if potato bugs bite?

It’s 3am and he wants to know if potato bugs bite..

He’s not satisfied until he gets his answer, even if that means he has to keep tapping/smacking me on the forehead until I can answer his question.

It’s really kinda cute.  That being said, it really isn’t the best time to have one of these conversations….

Do you experience anything similar with your kids? What’s the weirdest thing your kids have asked you?

I have to share this question because I want to know what my kids response could be…

Girl in Sacremento

My little sister asked me one time, “Can braces make you sleepy?” LOL!
