It’s cold but we’re going to the park to burn off some energy

While Lizze is in therapy this morning, I’m meeting my Mom at the park and we are going to take the boys on an early morning walk.

It’s pretty cold so it’ll be interesting but exercise is exercise.. Plus the more energy they burn off at the park, the less energy they have to drive me crazy with when we arrive home.

See how that works…… Brilliant…right?? (that’s a rhetorical question)

Well, that sounds like fun lol! Nah, it’s a good plan, just the cold part is offsetting to me lol. There is a state park about an hour and a half from me called Lost Maples State Natural Area. My Soul and body heal there. Except for the time I took Demeter THE Pig, my therapy animal, and she acted like it was torture because there wasn’t crowds of adoring people and she barely walked. Seriously. There is a busier state park closer to us, and one of my dogs and she and I have hiked 3 miles because there were so many people saying, “Awe! Look at that sweet pig'”, and I guess it gave her an extra well of endurance to continue or whatever. So there’s your morning laugh and inspiration…When things get rough or crazy at the park, just be glad you aren’t dragging a pouting pig around lol! 😉 In all seriousness, I hope that you and the boys can find that same healing Peace that I do in nature, and come out better for it! I feel closer to God om a hiking trail than in a building. 🙂
