I took Gavin with me to the grocery store this afternoon. When we pulled in and parked, he decided it was time to debrief me on today’s missions.
He said it was okay to record it and began to share what he’d been doing today.
You know, sitting there listening to him and trying not to let on just how much my heart is breaking, isn’t easy. I know he calls this his imaginary world but that’s because he’s so well therapized.
When you listen to him, it’s pretty clear that this way more than just his imaginary world.
This particular mission starts out pretty typical and sorta gets a little creepy at the end. You will also notice how difficult he is to understand as well. That’s thanks to his neuromuscular degeneration…
