A night filled with meltdowns

Our rough morning began around 2 am this kerning with Emmett freaking out and having a massive meltdown.  Ever since Gavin began clogging the toilet, Emmett is paranoid about using the bathroom because he has been the one to find the clogged toilet 8n the past.

He didn’t realize it was clogged and flushed it.  The water rose and didn’t stop until it was pouring all over the floor.

All it took was that one time and he’s had that event etched into his mind every single time he needs to use the bathroom.  It’s so stressful on him and everyone else because he just screams and screams.

Now he freaks out almost every time he has to use the bathroom and last night was really bad.

After Lizze got up with him at 2am, I was up with him 4 more times before 7am.

It’s absolutely exhausting.

You can see in my UP24 sleep report, how many times I got up with him and the total amount of time I was awake, simply dealing with these Emmett potty meltdowns.

My son is the same at the minute! An incident might only ever happen once, an incident that to us is so small and insignificant but will cause Zach to be anxious for months, even years! I empathise with your exhaustion, our household knows this feeling all too well and it isn’t easy. Wishing you a peaceful nights sleep tonight…. Fingers crossed!
