I've said this many times before but I will say it again.  Emmett and Bella are a match made in heaven. Bella is very well tempered and is the ying to Emmett's more aggressive tempered yang. They're like peanut butter and jelly, or magnets and paper clips.  They are simply made for each other. However, they both suffer from the same problem.  That problem being the belief that they can fly. Emmett is always jumping off of things in an attempt to take flight.  I admire his tenacity but I just don't think he's built for flight. Gavin sleeps in the most bizarre ways.  Many times he sleeps with his eyes open,  which I have dubbed creepy sleeping because it's creepy. Other times he sleep all contorted in positions that just don't seem comfortable. Gavin arrived home after a brief 7 hour stay in the ER. The CT scan came back clean,  as did his blood work. He received fluids but there isn't much else they can do.  Gavin did stabilize and so he was released last night. He came home and went straight to bed.  Lizze and I stayed up for a little while as discussed the hospital trip. Gavin's neurologist made an appearance and talked to the ER doctors.  Lizze asked if we should have kept him home or if we overreacted.  They said that we made the right call and that he needed to be seen.  The problem is just that there is very little that they can do for him. I just heard from Lizze.  Gavin is hooked up to an IV and is receiving fluids. Apparently,  they are going to do a head CT as well.  This is the 2nd time in a month that he has suffered one of these episodes.  His speech is slurred, he's disoriented and so they are concerned about his brain. That's all I know right now and I will be passing more along when I get it. Lizze and Gavin are at Akron Children's Hospital and I just finished getting the boys down. It's frustrating as I'm only getting bits and pieces of information.  The waiting to find out what's going on is really difficult. On the positive side,  I've been chatting,  via Google Talk with my friend,  "dreams",  from back when I was actively developing on Android. Gavin’s pediatrician wants him taken to Akron Children's Hospital ASAP. Basically,  Gavin’s BP is out of whack again. While I can't find my bp cuff and stethoscope,  I have compared his pulse standing and sitting. While he's standing,  his pulse rapid and weak.  When he sits down,  his heart rate slows and his pulse is stronger. So it seems he is having orthostatic hypotension issues once again. Unfortunately,  the only course of action at this point is the ER.  My guess is he'll fall asleep in the car and probably again at the hospital.  Lizze's mom is going to be taking Lizze and Gavin in just a few minutes. I'm staying back with the other boys so we can keep them on schedule. I'll update as I get more information. …
