The boys are going with Lizze's parents on a safari adventure today.  There an exotic animal farm a bit south of Canton, where you drive through and the animals come up to the car.  They can feed them from the windows. This is a great deal of fun for the boys.  I'll be honest with you.  I'm always sad to see them leave but the moment they pull away from the house today, I'm going right back to sleep. I'm so tired that I don't even have the words to explain just how tired I am. I mentioned that Gavin was having tummy issues on Monday.  This not so simple question of whether or not he's feeling better, isn't quite apparent. His tummy issues are still present but he's not complaining. Having said that, Gavin only complains of chest or side pain and paper cuts. He literally almost never complains about anything else. This makes it extremely difficult to know what's going on with him.  The truth is, I couldn't tell you on any given day, how Gavin's feeling. It's not like we don't ask him because we do.  He's just not capable of really answering in a way that's even remotely helpful. Emmett had a pretty rough day for some reason.  I feel like he did more screaming than talking. He doesn't appear to be in a flare or otherwise sick either.  Perhaps it was just one of those days? Regardless, he did have some positive moments, where he was relaxed and enjoying life.  We were on the couch watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Bella was snuggling with him.  While Emmett and Bella aren't attached at the hip anymore, she can almost always comfort him and help him to calm down.  He loves Bella and somehow she has this power to help him through life's more challenging moments.  I don't understand it but animals are amazing creatures and I'm just grateful. I was wondering if anyone has celebrated any recent victories lately.  The way I see it, a victory is a victory, regardless of how big or small.  I'm not one to candy coat things and spin a negative to be a positive.  My preference is to live in reality.  In my reality, we have good and bad.  Sometimes, the bad outweighs the good.  Sometimes the good outweighs the bad.  It's a give and take.  There is no way that I could be all positive, all the time because that wouldn't be fantasy and not reality. I'm awarding this a bit early today but I feel like this will definitely set the bar for the day.  Unfortunately, we had to remove Gavin’s ability to play with Legos again.  He's has been hoarding them for himself and leaving his brothers with only a few pieces.  He was given multiple chances but he didn't listen.  This led to us having to take them away again.  The goal being for him to know what it's like to not have Legos to play with. That's what the other boys were feeling when he was hogging them all.  He got mad and trashed his huge Lego ship that he had made and began winding up to throw a tantrum. Emmett and Elliott received the August editions of their most favorite magazine in the world, Hightlights. My grandmother bought them both subscriptions and she got Gavin a subscription to National Geographic Kids. Elliott's hard at work trying to find all the hidden pictures and reading through his magazine. I just finished reading Emmett's Highlights magazine to him, while he snuggled with me on the couch.  This was the perfect gift for the whole family.
