Let me introduce Miss. Maggie Sue. She is our English Staffy. Maggie is pushing 3 years of age. We rescued her 1.5 years ago. She had been seized in a raid of a major fighting dog ring. She has cigarette burns in various places and spent most of her life in a cage. We found her on line and made a road trip to meet her.
She had been there for a long time because no one could see passed her intimidating exterior. We fell in love with her and brought her home. She is the gentlest dog I have ever known. She is amazing with the kids and very protective of our family. She thinks she’s a lap dog but at 70 lbs she’s a little to big for that. She is very motherly to the kids and takes tons of loving abuse from the boys (namely Emmett John). We are blessed to have found her. Everyone who meets her loves her (once they realize she not going to rip them to shreds) She is living proof that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.

Man alive….what a cool looking dog!!She could camp out on my lap any day,lol.(atleast until my legs went to sleep) Aren't animals great when you need a true friend? That dog would probably die trying to help you guys and all she asks from you is a little food, and a little of your time. I've said it before and i'll say it again…i like animals more than most people…they are way less judgemental.
Given some of your neighbors that intnimidating look I'd a good thing ;).
