That's awesome.. those moments don't necessarily make all the hard times worth it exactly but they do make the hard times fade away, even if only for however long it lasts.
My little one was struggling in his sleep the other day and I up and left my work to have one of those moments with him. He slept great once I was with him on the couch.
I wouldn't trade those moments for anything in the world.
