It’s been a little while since I’ve last updated you as to the status of our current status.
First let me thank you all for the out pouring if support. It’s quite humbling to know that so many if you care. Thank you.
As for our current status…..
We’ve not had any contact with Child Protective Services is well over a week. The last phone call I received had us in a pretty good spot.
At this point, I don’t think they believe the allegations that we don’t take our kids to the doctors.
However, they are still waiting to here back from the Cleveland Clinic and Akron Children’s Hospital. I’m told that if those come back without any concern, the case will be closed.
When the hell knows how long this is going to take. I know that I don’t.
Even though we’ve done nothing wrong, it’s a helplessness feeling to be under investigation for being a bad parent, especially when you aren’t.
That’s where we are right now. As soon as I know more I’ll pass it along.

How can anyone even think to say you don’t take your kids to the doctor regularly? You guys frequent the doctors and hospital probably more than most people I know, but it’s due to all the complex health issues going on. Whoever told that to CPS has to be the dumbest liar, ever. I am so sorry people have decided to target your family. That’s awful.
I’m sorry you guys are going through such difficult times. Keep your heads up, it will get better. Thinking positive thoughts for you all!
I really hate the waiting game, but play the game you must. Don’t ever think you are bad parents…some people just can’t leave well enough alone and probably got tired of hearing the meltdowns and tried to pull some crap. Been through the game many times myself. Hang in there and give those kiddos some hugs from us here!
