Today’s #Autism Victory: Homework

I’m so proud of Emmett.  He came home from school today and sat right down at his little table and did his homework. 

He loves doing homework… Can you believe that??? Holy crap did we get lucky with him…  Great job Mr. Emmett John. Keep on being excited about learning. 🙂

my youngest liked doing “school projects”. I was dreading them because I thought it was going to be one heck of a hassle. to my wonderful surprise,  I would come home and he would have it half done or have a really concrete idea. one of my happiest homework days!! It goes to show that we have all of these set ideas in our head and something totally different happens. it happens to kids too

That is cool. I was the reverse when I was a kid I hated doing homework when I got home I wanted nothing more to do with school.
