What the heck happened today?

Today has been one of the longest days ever.  We had Gavin’s IVIG Infusion this morning and aside from a bit or drama on Gavin’s part, he did really well.

The process was pretty quick today and we were done around 1pm.

After I picked up the boys from my parents, we spent the rest of the day at home.  I got a brief nap and began the rest of our day.

Elliott and Emmett have been at each others throats all day long and each have had their share of meltdowns.  I swear to God my brain almost had a meltdown of its own.

I love my kids without condition but I also realize that they need to have some time apart and school starting back on Monday can’t happen soon enough.

The boys need their routine back and I need my sanity.

I’m hoping that Saturday proves to be quiet and relaxing…. To be honest, I can’t take anything else.
