The Nooie Cam 360 (REVIEW)

I’m gonna be brief with this because there isn’t a tremendous amount that needs to be said. I’ve been testing out the $50 Nooie 360 Camera for a few weeks now and it’s unbelievably awesome.

The Nooie Cam 360 is a wireless indoor camera that records and streams in 1080p. The camera can record to the cloud or micro SD card that inserts right underneath the camera ball itself. This camera can be triggered by motion and/or sound and works crazy well in the dark due to its night vision feature. There’s also 2 way audio so you can easily use it as a monitor for your kids.

The Nooie Cam 360 rotates and pans up and down. The camera will track, record can follow motion. While some people want to attract squirrels I to their yard, I’m currently this in my attic because I’m trying to trap the squirrels living there. I have this setup in the corner of my attic, plugged in via USB. I can stream the feed to my TV via Chromecast or any of my Nest Hubs. It’s been a few days and I haven’t seen any squirrel activity but I can pull up the camera on my phone at anytime and check it out. The resolution and wifi reception is outstanding, especially considering the main wifi hub is 2 floors down. The remote playback works insanely well and doesn’t take forever to load or buffer.

The app gives you complete control over the camera, including rotation and panning. The motion is completely silent, so it goes unnoticed. To be completely honest with you, it works so well I don’t understand how it’s only $49. It can run off an external battery, making it ultra portable. I’m absolutely in love with this camera and will likely add a few more over time. This is for indoor use so I wouldn’t install it outside where it might be exposed to weather.

It works with Google and Alexa but I only have it setup with Google for now. I can just ask Google to pull up the feed and it does. I can even share access to the camera with other people as well.

I absolutely love this thing and if you’re in the market for an indoor camera, you definitely can’t go wrong with this. I would love to try out more of their products in the future. Nooie wasn’t a familiar brand to me prior to this review but I’m a total fan at this point. For $49, I can find a single flaw that would deter me from recommending this.
