Pain can be exhausting

I spent most of yesterday painting with my Dad, as we’re working on the outside of the house. Since I’ve gone back to working out, I’ve had a flare up of tendonitis in right arm. It’s not a huge deal but it’s painful and impacts the use of my right arm a bit. My back is also sore from working over my head while painting. Thankfully, it’s not too bad.

Between my arm and my back, I’m exhausted and I feel rundown. It’s crazy the impact pain can have on someone. When I’m in this much pain, I tend to be quiet and far less outgoing. I am feeling a bit better today but I’m looking forward to receiving the tendonitis band I ordered because that will provide a great deal of relief.

On the positive side, we made some good progress in the painting department. I’m going to finish up more this weekend, hopefully before it rains.

I want to get some yardwork done before the boys come home from their visit. One of the things I’m really looking forward to is spending time outside in the yard, when all of these projects are done. I want to find peace and solace in the comfort of my own back yard. I feel like we’re getting closer and closer to that as we reclaim our lives and continue to make progress.

I’m gonna take some Motrin and get to work. ☺
