image

I will be sending a story every week and if I am not it is probably because I am not feeling good. So I will try to if I am feeling up to it. so I promise I will try to do my job. I must do it so if you get laughed at, I can tell you that I have been laughed at to. I didn’t like it ether ok? Because I like my little pony.

Thank you 🙂

Elliott, I’m a girl and I love my little ponies too!  So do a lot of guys I know too.  We’re all proud to be bronies.  Glad you’re one of us!
When I was little, I would get teased too because I would play with “boys” toys.  But I wasn’t hurting anybody so what difference did it make what I found to play with?  And now, I can fix a lot of things and do a lot of stuff that other girls can’t.  So you keep liking the things that make you happy no matter what anyone else says!  Ok?  🙂

Thank you Elliot! What you are doing is so important!  I love the poster and the whole idea. What a brave and unselfish person you are to speak out against this. Everytime that my little girl gets made fun of or picked on, I will tell her about you! Keep up the good work!

You are doing a great job. I like that you are educating us out here. Thank you for your hard work!

Thanks for sharing your story, Elliot.  I look forward to reading more from you.
A wonderful boy who is a friend of mine also likes My Little Pony, and he also gets teased because of it.  I think most of us, at some point or another, have been laughed at.  For being too tall, too short, too fat, too thin…  It doesn’t even matter who we are or what we’re like, someone will always find something to laugh at us about, but I think you will find that as you get older, liking things that are different from what others your age like becomes less and less important.  So it’s okay to just be yourself, and the people who honestly matter the most won’t judge you, and everyone else isn’t important.

Charyss reonyea @hollyrpeete  thanks everyone. Elliott really wants people to know that it’s not nice to laugh at someone for being different.  I’m so proud of him.  🙂

Thanks Elliot!  I had that problem when I was younger too because I was a girl who liked “boy” things like electronics and gadgets and stuff–it is now cool for everybody but it really wasn’t when I was little.  I think if you like ponies, you like ponies.  Doesn’t matter they are both boys and girls.  I think it’s great you are sharing your experiences and feelings with people and I can’t wait to read more.  Have a great week!!

Thank you for sharing that, Elliott, I thought you wrote it very well. I think the people who laugh at you are silly, because everybody should be able to like whatever they want. I am a girl and I like video games and Star Wars, so I know people can like anything no matter if they’re a boy or a girl.
My friend John is a brony like you, and he’s six foot four so nobody laughs at him!
