One of the most difficult things for me as a parent to three kids with Autism and other special needs, is knowing when some of them are sick or not feeling well.
We finally made it home and it's been an really long day. The appointment went pretty well and I'll tell you all about it later on. Right now I've got to figure out dinner and attempt to get my kids to go to sleep tonight.. They are bouncing off the walls and so that's going to be a challenge. We made it to the Cleveland Clinic almost 30 minutes early. I always forget how weird the setup for the psych clinic is. We have to go to the 5th floor to check in and then get back on the elevators and go down to the 4th floor to wait.
Lizze was so nervous about today that she couldn't sleep. As crazy as it sounds, it's perfect normal to finally being able to get help. It means change and not everyone likes change.
I've really enjoyed using the LiveFyre commenting system. However, their recent changes have made commenting from a mobile platform almost impossible.
Lizze is severely depressed, struggling with PTSD and living in chronic pain. She's been in therapy but her therapist can't prescribe medications and her PCP isn't comfortable managing the meds on this and wanted her seen by a psychiatrist.
