I had some time to kill this afternoon before I ran a few errands. The kids are going to their moms for a little while and I thought I would play some solitare. In the past, I preferred to use an actual deck of cards but I can’t find anything but UNO cards right now. That’s a whole other story for another time, but it’s frustrating.
Anyway, at this point, I should have walked away but I can be stubborn at times and I was going to play solitare if it killed me. lol
Before I gave up, I remembered that my kids sometimes play games via internet browser. I did a quick Google search for solitare and that lead me to a site called solitaire.org. That said, before I could dive into a quick game, I noticed they had other games as well. My brain was a bit scattered, which it partly why I wanted to play solitare in the first place. It’s just kind of grounding for me.
Having said that, I ended up playing a hidden pictures game and it was a blast. Emmett and I used to spend hours looking for hidden pictures in the old Highlights magizines. We haven’t done that in forever and I really miss it. I think that’s why I was drawn to the hidden picture games. Either way, my goal of occupying my time in sort of constructive way had been accomplished. ☺
The whole time I was reminiscing of the many, many hours that Emmett and I searched for hidden pictures over the years. It was kind of a nice moment.
Anyway, if you’re bored, and like me, your kids seem to lose everything they touch, just know that you can relax to some card games, hidden pictures games, and a bunch of others that will help you pass the time, you can do so at https://www.solitaire.org/. It’s totally free and I just used the Chrome browser on my laptop.
