I also just got off the phone with my parents. They want to take Lizze and I out to dinner. This is really cool as well and it will be so nice to have adult conversation. A person can only take so much Lego, Mario and My Little Pony talk be for they go nuts. :-)
When I saw Emmett and Maggie this morning, I was instantly transported back in time to when I was first asked that question. It's just kinda interesting how some things never change. :-)

Despite my best efforts to the contrary, nothing ever seems to go as planned.
Today however, we ran into a scheduling conflict and my parents needed their car this morning. That's totally cool and we worked everything out and all was right with the world. That is until I got the phone call.
We are celebrating an amazing victory this morning.
While my family is experiencing some pretty rough times right now, at this very moment, I'm feeling blessed. That may sound a bit crazy coming from a guy that just lost his family's only car but it's true.
