I’m at a massive disadvantage today

Lizze is in class and I’m hanging out with the kids, who are driving me absolutely bonkers today.

The boys are simply bouncing off the walls with a seemingly endless surplus of explosive energy and I’m not exactly competing with the same level of energy.

This puts me at a massive disadvantage.

It’s going to be a really, really long ass day and I’m going to try to make the best of it but no promises… ūüôā

All we can do is make the best of what we are given and keep moving forward.

Good luck! (What kind of classes is Lizze taking? I hope they go well)

I hope they are free classes. Ya know since that birthday snuck right up on you and you were surprisingly ‘between pays’.

And FFS take the kids outside to burn off some of that energy. It’s like you can’t think for yourself, you just prefer to whine about stuff instead of doing something about it.

Zoe, Thank you for your well thought out and judgmental comment. I don’t know what I’d do with myself if I didn’t have these wonderful words to brighten my already challenging day. Please keep’em coming… I love being an outlet for you whatever is upsetting you in your life. I hope it brightens your day.

Nothing is upsetting me. I’m hoping one of these days you will actually get it. You aren’t a single dad any longer so you can lean on that, still nothing ever changes. Ever.

People have offered to help you with a budget, no thanks I’ll jus squander the limited means I have and never plan for a rainy day.

People have offered fun activities for the boys. No thanks I’ll just whine when they get in my nerves.

It just never ends.

One of the great things about other people’s lives is that they are other people’s lives. We don’t have to decide how they should be run. Whew! Cus that would be a lot of work. Much better we turn our efforts to making the changes we’d like to see in our own lives…

That’s actually pretty deep and you make a really good point that I think each one of us should take to heart. Thank you…. smile

Just because someone shares parts of their lives, in hopes of helping others, doesn’t give anyone the right to act in a way that would be considered, inappropriate, hurtful, judgmental or simply unkind.

I love how you take what I write and manage to turn it into something negative. Who’s offered to help me with a budget? Who’s offered fun activities for the boys? Your assumptions are pretty bold and your accusations are made up. Zoe, I have no idea where you’re coming from or who you are and frankly, I don’t care. I try to surround myself with positive people and you clearly wouldn’t be one of them. You’re simply making things up and then putting words in my mouth. No ones whining here and no ones complaining. I’m just sharing insight… Read more »

You are so full of crap Rob. I’ve seen those offers on your blog countless times. COUNTLESS

If you could kindly provide a link to anywhere you’ve read that, I’d appreciate it. I really feel bad that you are so out of sorts over a post that wasn’t negative in any way. If you need to talk, I’m always here for readers. smile

Zoe, what’s your deal? I’m kind of curious. Are you a mom? Young? Old? What’s going on with you? I’m curious about your very strong reaction and there is probably something behind it…
