So far so good-ish

Emmett was not comfortable going to school alone but Lizze and I dug into our repertoire of parenting skills to resolve the situation. In other words, we bribed him.

It was the path of least resistance and we needed to resolve the situation quickly because we have to get the boys to the dentist.

All we have to do is take Emmett to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard after school. In my mind, that’s a very small price to pay to start the morning off on a good foot.

Essentially, we had to give Emmett something that he could focus on more than the fact that he’s going to be the only Gorski in the school building today.

So far so good-ish……. ☺
