It’s been a really rough day but there was a silver lining

It’s been a really long day, filled with incessant talk of missions and invisible super best friends. If I hear the power of Gavin compels you one more time, I think I’ll get a hair transplant just so I can rip it out. That’s for another post though.

The focus of tonight is on something really awesome that happened this afternoon.

After almost three months, today was the day that Emmett finally made his triumphant return to occupational therapy. His OT is finally back from maternity leave and they had a blast making up for lost time.

Emmett was all about seeking.

They refer to him as a seeker because he’s constantly seeking sensory input. Today was all about crashing and bashing.

You can see some of what he was up to in the pictures below.  He had so much fun and I totally enjoyed watching him finally have his outlet back.

Once again, I have to pull him out of school early for this but it’s at the end of the day and it’s totally worth it for him to get this therapy. It really does help him so much and I can’t wait to watch what he does next time.
