I’ve been raising autistic kids for 25 years. I’m neurodivergent myself. I’ve been through the therapies, the IEPs, the meltdowns, the wins, and everything in between. People act like services, support, and understanding should just stop when our kids turn 18. But autism doesn’t magically vanish on their birthday. Just a gentle reminder that you never know what someone might be going through, so just be kind.
