As parents raising kids with autism or any other disability, what do you wish the world around them (teachers, 1st responders, doctors, friends/family or just the general public) better understood about your kids? You can’t see every challenge someone is carrying. Gavin is my 25 year old autistic son. He’s moved out and I don’t see him all that often anymore. We’ve started a thing where we go to lunch or dinner once or twice a month so we can catch up and hang out. It’s deliberate time and we have a lot of fun. He and I are working on a project together. I’ll update you guys on that later. But you’re gonna hear more from Gavin in the near future. 😊 ❤️
