#Meltdowns aren’t #tantrums. They’re not about attention or bad behavior. Some kids don’t run to the playground or jump into group games. One year ago this week, my son Gavin—who’s 25 and autistic—moved out of the home he grew up in and into a group home. It was a huge milestone. For most of his life, we were told something like this would never be possible.
